Mark Sulander is a 19-year-old Finnish pianist and composer based in Helsinki, whose playing has been described as "personal, emotionally wide-ranging, and rich in nuance." He studies piano at the Sibelius Academy (Bachelor's degree) under Antti Hotti.
His international profile has grown through masterclasses and festivals including the International Piano Festival of Málaga, L'Académie Internationale d'Été de Nice, and the Vienna Piano Masterclass, with instruction from pianists such as Fabio Bidini, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Tuija Hakkila, and Konstantin Bogino, among others.
